Overview¶
Every hour, all sensor readings are: 1. Hashed with SHA-256 2. Organized into a Merkle tree 3. Merkle root anchored on Cardano blockchain 4. Proofs generated for individual verification
Why Blockchain?¶
- Immutability: Data cannot be altered
- Transparency: Anyone can verify
- Trustless: No need to trust AirChain
- Permanent: Data preserved forever
