Earning AIRQ Tokens¶
How sensor operators earn cryptocurrency rewards.
Reward System¶
- Base rate: 10 AIRQ per day
- Calculation:
base_rate × uptime_percentage - Distribution: Daily at midnight UTC
- Minimum payout: 1 AIRQ
Uptime Requirements¶
- Good: 95%+ uptime = full rewards
- Moderate: 80-94% uptime = proportional
- Poor: <80% uptime = reduced rewards
Calculating Uptime¶
uptime = (readings_received / expected_readings) × 100
expected_readings = 288 per day (every 5 minutes)
Example Earnings¶
Scenario: 98% uptime for 30 days
Daily: 10 AIRQ × 0.98 = 9.8 AIRQ
Monthly: 9.8 × 30 = 294 AIRQ
Receiving Tokens¶
- Set up Cardano wallet (Nami, Eternl, etc.)
- Add wallet address in dashboard
- Tokens sent automatically daily
- View transactions on Cardano explorer
