Earning AIRQ Tokens
How sensor operators will earn cryptocurrency rewards.
Planned Reward System
- Base rate: 10 AIRQ per day
- Calculation:
base_rate × uptime_percentage - Distribution: Daily at midnight UTC
- Minimum payout: 1 AIRQ
Uptime Requirements
- Good: 95%+ uptime = full rewards
- Moderate: 80-94% uptime = proportional
- Poor: <80% uptime = reduced rewards
Calculating Uptime
uptime = (readings_received / expected_readings) × 100
expected_readings = 288 per day (every 5 minutes)
Example Earnings
Scenario: 98% uptime for 30 days
Daily: 10 AIRQ × 0.98 = 9.8 AIRQ
Monthly: 9.8 × 30 = 294 AIRQ
Receiving Tokens (Q3 2026)
When the program launches:
- Set up Cardano wallet (Nami, Eternl, Yoroi, etc.)
- Add wallet address in operator dashboard
- Tokens sent automatically daily via smart contract
- View transactions on Cardano explorer
Token Value
AIRQ will be tradeable when launched. Market value will be determined by supply and demand.
